We enjoy the Mississippi River for a wide variety of reasons - its natural beauty, the towboats that regularly share its course, its recreational opportunities, its history, and its power to serve as a connecting link between the diverse human communities that live on its shores. That's why we publish Oldmanriver.com online, along with The Riverview Times and other printed publications and products that aim to educate, inform, entertain and involve our readers. It's also part of why we own and run the Old Man River Cafe, where we produce shade-grown Flyway Coffee - so named for the birds who regularly migrate along the Mississippi River valley.
